I have been trying unsuccessfully to have the subscription cancelled and the money refunded. I did not receive an email 7 days prior advising the plan was up for renewal as stated on their web site. I checked my bank account and found that they had without warning debited $229.98 from my credit card. I had twelve month subscription and I know I had turned off the auto renewal. End of story - I had cancelled the Bitdefender in December and purchased TotalAV which I am more than happy with.

They are now stating I did not can cancel and they had the right to take the payment. Now they wont honor their promise to cancel and not taking my money. Read more elling it and not having the funds in the account they tried twice to access the money, I sent another message advising I had earlier cancelled and them sending me an email promising me they would not try again and that the sub was cancelled, at the same time they took the funds from my account $149.00) they are advertising a renewal for $69.99. As I paid by PayPal I looked at my automatic payments and could not find it, so I assumed I had cancelled that as well - but their user name is not Bitdefender but Veriphone so I missed it.

In December they sent me a renewal notice. They are very strict about telling you where and what you can do! I complained to them and told them I would not be renewing.

Had the AV for a few weeks, then found out everything they did not recognise (Coles for one) I could not access it unless I added it to my safe sites to browse! This and more.
